Six-month training curriculum
The need for a well-organized and structured training in ESD across Europe has been clearly highlighted by the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE).
Inspired by the ESGE curriculum for endoscopic submucosal dissection training, Pentax Medical created a comprehensive six-month training programme. Here, experts in ESD act as mentors, guiding participants and comprehensively teaching the necessary skills.
Pentax Medical's Forward Program aims to target high-potential, skilled physicians who would like to be the future experts in performing ESD. It entails several steps to guarantee the development of the trainees' skills, including ex-vivo and in-vivo hands-on training as well as case observation.
